Description
Secura Hosting Ltd is a dynamic and progressive company which is at the leading edge of a technology
sector that is growing at a phenomenal rate. The company is positioned for
rapid growth within the Hosting and IT arena and are looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer to become part of our industry leading Customer
Care Team.
This is a Windows server based support role. Responsibilities
include day to day problem investigation and resolution including root cause analysis.
There will be opportunities to work on projects across multiple platforms. This role includes
some out of hours cover work.
Experience Required
Successful candidates are likely to have at least 2 years solid Server Support experience
and should have excellent knowledge of Windows 2000/2003,
IIS, SQL Server and DNS. You should have a solid understanding of networks, email and firewalls. You will
have excellent ability to assess and diagnose problems and be very keen to learn new technologies.
Any knowledge or experience of the following would be desirable but are not essential:
Linux/FreeBSD,
JUNOS, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MSTP,
Active Directory, Exchange, ASP/ASP.NET programming,
ITIL.
Successful
candidates will undertake other tasks and projects as directed by the business in the pursuit of
company objectives and to work closely with the senior management
and company directors to identify business development opportunities.
You will ensure that you have the correct level of product, technical knowledge
and customer service training required to deliver industry leading customer
care our clients and internal departments expect.
Candidates will work with the Customer Relations and Sales teams to ensure that
their product knowledge is complete and up to date so enquires are answered and in an effective
and efficient manner in order to deliver 100% customer service and satisfaction
to all existing and potential clients.
Key attributes associated with this role include being extremely self-motivated,
hungry and credible at senior management level.
